1961 United 7-Stars Large Ball Bowler
Cabinet restoration is now complete, Pin Deck has been cleaned, and now working on the Lane Sections which need to be sanded, painted and stained. Project is still under way...I will continue restoration during the winter of 2013.
The United 7-Stars is a unique machine, in that it has 7 different games that can be chosen, to play. While this is great from a user point of view, it is a complicated machine. At the stage this machine is in, the back cabinet has been sanded and the base coat is on, and all mechanics have been cleaned, now it requires some repairs to finalize errors that have been found. Below you will see some of the photos of this restoration, which is still in progress. Thanks to my mentor in this hobby for his guidance and expertise!

UPDATE - 7 Stars Restoration
After many years of bumping into the remaining pieces of this bowler in my shop, I decided to finish this machine. Updated pictures show the final assembly. The pin hood was from another bowler, and the wiring doesn't mesh with this machine. This still needs to be rewired, otherwise all other functions are working now. Completed in February, 2018. This will be a favorite in the arcade, it has some great game options to keep things interesting. I was concerned the compact lane length might make this less fun than a longer alley, but we haven't found that to be true. This is one of our favorite machines to play, probably one of a few survivors of this machine that are left.
